K-9 ANSWERS THE CALL! K-9 Jagger and Deputy Hribek answered the call to assist Bay County locate a suspect who fled the scene of a fatal accident late friday night. K-9 Jagger was able to track and locate the intoxicated suspect who was hiding under a tree in the woods. He was taken into custody without incident. K-9 Jagger was recently added to the ranks after his longtime predecessor K-9 Sonic retired. Congratulations to both K-9 Jagger and Deputy Hribek!

Labor Day weekend travel notice: For any of our followers who will be traveling to the tip of the mitten, the Mackinac Bridge will be closed during the Annual Labor Day Bridge Walk on Monday, September 4 from 6:30 am until Noon. The bridge will only be open for walker shuttle buses and emergency personnel during that time. The reason for the closure is for safety and security. Please adjust your travel plans accordingly (a few extra hours in the beautiful Upper Peninsula isn't usually a bad thing).
