Officers located the victim who was suffering from moderate injuries on the sidewalk on Pine St. Officers learned from the victim that the collision was not an accident and that it was an intentional act. Ceres Police "Drop the Drugs" expired prescription drop box yeilds 46 lbs of unwanted/expired prescription drugs. In the first two months of being offered, Ceres residents have taken advantage of this free drop off location for unused/expired prescription medication. Lt. Patrick Crane, who oversees the program at the Ceres Police Department, stated "We did not expect the amount of drugs that were dropped off. We had anticipated not having to clear the bin for six months. It was almost full after two. I am very happy with the results!"

The "Drop the Drugs" drop box is located in the lobby of the Ceres Police Department.
